We seek a Channel/Business Development Manager to help develop best in class policies and practices for our growing international business. Requires excellent communication skills, a consistent track record of quota overattainment and revenue growth, and strong networking skills. Successful applicants will possess an industry reputation for competence professionalism, integrity, and a passion for winning.

Job Description:

  • Responsible for aggressively driving and setting strategy, recruiting, developing and expanding a strong channel partner network and agent program consistent with Panasas business priorities
  • Develops, drives, supports and manages channel partners in order to build a robust indirect channel revenue stream
  • Carefully matches Panasas value proposition to recruiting strategies to ensure the correct channel partners and/or agents are attracted
  • Achieves assigned business objectives
  • Ensuring that channel programs, profitability gross margin metrics are consistent with company objectives
  • Establishes indirect channel structure and field organization
  • Strives to increase awareness and visibility of the company in the sector
  • Prepares weekly forecasting, pipeline for review and input with the VP of sales and the members of the sales team
  • Develop business plan with the go to market strategy for each of the regions
  • Works with marketing to identify target customers

Experience/Qualifications Preferred:

  • HPC and/or storage experience is a must
  • Has personal contacts and relationships to leverage in the regions
  • At least 10 years of solid indirect sales and leadership experience
  • Outstanding track record in building indirect revenue streams
  • Start-up experience helpful
  • Will have strong intellectual and creative abilities balanced with solid experience in driving and achieving results
  • Will have strong network of industry relationships to cultivate for success
  • Aggressive, results oriented style that rewards teamwork
  • Strongest possible personal and professional ethics and integrity

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience required
  • Minimum 10 years experience
