FREMONT, Calif. November 17, 2008 Panasas, Inc., the global leader in parallel storage solutions, received five
HPCwire Readers’ and Editors’ Choice Awards at this year’s Readers’ and Editors’ Choice Awards, announced by
HPCwire publisher Diane Lieberman at the
HPCwire booth at the SuperComputing 2008 Conference (SC08). Among the different awards received, Panasas’ ActiveStor was named as the Readers' Choice for best HPC storage product.
The coveted
HPCwire Readers’ and Editors’ Choice Awards are determined through online polling of the global
HPCwire audience, along with a rigorous selection process involving
HPCwire editors and industry luminaries. The awards are an annual feature of the publication and constitute prestigious recognition from the HPC community. These annual awards kick off the SC08 conference, which showcases high performance computing, networking, storage, and data analysis.
"Every year, it is our pleasure to survey our readers in order to determine which HPC-related companies, product and technologies are making the biggest impacts in mind-share within the HPC community,” said Diane Lieberman, publisher of HPCwire. "The HPCwire Readers’ and Editors’ Choice Awards send a strong message to the recipients that those in the global HPC community recognize their work, and consider their efforts meritorious. Our congratulations go out to Panasas and the rest of the winners.”
